About Nirdosh Jagota
After training in pharmacy at the Indian Institute of Technology in Varanasi, India, Nirdosh Jagota came to the United States, where he secured a master of science in the pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Toledo in Ohio and a doctor of philosophy (PhD) in pharmacokinetics and analysis at the University of Georgia in Athens. While working toward his PhD, Nirdosh Jagota published seven academic papers and gained admittance to the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society.
Nirdosh Jagota began his career as a research investigator with Bristol-Myers Squibb, and went on to serve in a series leadership positions with pharmaceutical companies ranging from DuPont to Merck. Accepting progressively extensive administrative responsibilities over the next two decades, he ultimately led a team of more than 700 to govern regulatory matters for Merck in Japan, China, and various emerging markets. Since 2022, Mr. Jagota has overseen combination products as well as biosimilars and external affairs as a vice president in charge of quality at Amgen.
